放射線照射処理（ほうしゃせんしょうしゃしょり）
色の改善を目的とした処理方法です。放射線を照射することにより、結晶の構造を変えて色合いを変えます。
着色処理（ちゃくしょくしょり）
色素を人工的に変える処理です。
コーティング処理
石の表面に、他の物質を蒸着させて色合いを調整します。
高温高圧処理（こうおんこうあつしょり）
高温高圧下に置くことで人工的に色の変化を起こさせます。
